PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: April 11, 2026
Jon Kiper for Governor ("the Campaign") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our campaign activities, including our website, volunteer tools, and text messaging program.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
Publicly available voter registration data — including your name, address, party affiliation, and voting history, as provided by the New Hampshire Secretary of State. This information is public record under NH RSA 654:31.
Contact information you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address when you sign up to volunteer, donate, or attend an event.
Text messaging data — if you receive a text message from our campaign, we record your phone number, the content of messages sent, and your responses including opt-out requests.
Volunteer activity data — if you volunteer with our campaign, we track canvassing activity, doors knocked, and conversations for campaign coordination purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for voter outreach and communication about the campaign, volunteer coordination, event planning, and fundraising. We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the Jon Kiper for Governor campaign.
No Sharing of Mobile Information
No mobile information, including phone numbers and opt-in data, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We will never sell, rent, or share your mobile information with any outside parties.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share limited information with campaign vendors (such as our text messaging platform) solely to facilitate campaign communications.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect, including secure storage of volunteer and voter data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You have the right to opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, request that we remove your information from our volunteer contact lists, and contact us with questions about how your information is used.
Please note that publicly available voter registration data is maintained by the State of New Hampshire and is not controlled by our campaign.
